The street is dark. The sky is full of lightning. You have two kites.

HOW TO PLAY

Run into the wind. The windsock shows which way the storm blows. Run against it and your kite lifts out of your hand and climbs as the line pays out.
Keep it flying. Stop and it holds only if it's up in the strong wind. Run with the wind and it falls. Jump the gaps between roofs: the streets below are flooded.
Reach the storm. When the kite is up in the clouds it starts gathering charge. The gauge on the right shows its height and charge.
Tie it to a lightning rod. Stand at a rod and tie the line. Lightning finds the kite and the rod comes alive. The kite stays up there, keeping it alive, until you take it back (tie again). Hold a charged kite too long and the lightning finds you, and that's the end of the run.

Rook Row has been dark since the storm. Its three rods feed the wiring strung across the street, and you only have two kites. Follow the wires.

Tip: if a rod is downwind of you, walk past it first, then run back into the wind. And if you spot a rooftop cat, you could tie your kite to it.
